Portovenere

On our way back to Varese/Lugano (they live there), we stopped by Portovenere to grab some lunch. I have been there before as it is almost (but not quite) a part of Cinque Terre which I went to last year.
It is absolutely a stunning place by the sea, but seeing as it is teeny- tiny it can get crowded during summer there.
We had a great lunch at the restaurant belonging to the Grand Hotel in Portovenere.
Some steep steps to walk down (and even worse, walk up on the way back)
We had us some seafood (again, hehe), pasta and I had the ham and cheese- so, so good!
The view from the castle is just stunning!!
When I came home I was absolutely exhausted.. too old to drink and travel every day;) Now, back to my normal routine- ah, love it!!
