My amazing Izabella had basically everything set up, booked a place on the beach, booked restaurants and put us on lists for clubs, which is just so nice to have sorted out for people like me, who kind of hate to plan all of that...;)
Anyway, the first full day in Forte dei Marmi, we just headed right down to the beach to get some tanning going on. Me and Jen actually managed to get ourselves out to run for 30 minutes, which was a HUGE accomplishment having a bitt too much wine the night before.
HOW cute is this place?! The beach bar is called Flavio and they had maybe the best fried seafood I have ever tasted, so good.
And the sea is great, sand bottom, clean- just lovely!
Had to start with a little coffee before we turned into the tan- team of 2017;)

And then... the view from my sunbed!
In the evening Iza had booked the restaurant for the evening 'Osteria del mare' and the place was STUNNING, really good food, rather expensive (160 for three of us, shared appetiser and two bottles of wine)... but once on vacation-. right?!
We had assorted seafood for an appetiser, that we shared
And me and Jen shared two pasta dishes, one was with mini- clams (on top) and the other with tomatoes and shrimps.
All so, so good!Three happy ladies;)
Oh... and how cool is this picture from Lucca the day before? Panorama photo for the win (especially when it cuts my leg in half so I look super- skinny... haha)
