After London I headed down to Corsica to meet my family who was there for their summer holidays.

My mom, my brother, his wife and their three kids.I had to book tickets to one airport as it was the only one where I could go to from London, but that one was a 2,5 hour drive from where my family was at. I really tried hard to find a way to get to them, but the only buses or trains that would take me there, led me to the opposite direction of where I was- meaning about 6/7 hours of traveling to get to a place 2 hours away. So my mom and my brother was so nice to drive for 2,5 hours to come pick me up.

The crowd in an exquisite elevator selfie!

I stayed with my mom in her hotel, but we basically stayed with everyone all day every day we were there.

We've been hanging by the pool or the sea every day, teaching my nephews how to swim and do acrobatics in the water.

Arriving to the pool at our hotel:

Playing around:

The first night we went to this beach restaurant and there the food was great, some live- music, really 'beachy', which was nice.

A little clip from the restaurant:

And my brother and nephew dancing a bit, love the boomerang style:

The sunset was amazing from our hotel restaurant (which was called 'hotel bella vista' which means 'hotel nice view'):

Even made 'a run for it', at three in the afternoon and 32 degrees, our receptionist was a bit worried about me... hehe. All went well, but I was soaked- so hot! And then I went to have a cappuccino, and this is going to sound incredibly pretentious, but the coffee there- not so tasty. They do know their baked goods though!

I got to say though- not very impressed by Corsica- it was nice enough, but expensive and not the best food nor the most service- minded people. All though the receptionist at our hotel was so so nice!

Me and my mom headed back to Italy today and since Easyjet was 2 hours delayed we missed our flight back to Milan- so now we're taking the train from Zurich to Milan... bye money...

They evacuated the airport in Corsica... Getting people on to the runway instead of in front of the airport:

It has been a couple of fantastic days (as always) with my family though!

Now I have a couple of days with my mom and then next weekend is a long weekend so we're off to Pescara in Italy for four days Friday onwards.
