Il Poggio Varese

This Saturday it was all about finding this swimming pool a colleague of mine had recommended. And since he is from Varese, off we went- and it just ended up being one of the best discoveries to date in Varese (THANKS Matteo!).

It lies in the forrest a bit outside of Varese, was 15€ to get in, but then we got a drink and could stay there until 11 in the evening (if we wanted to, which we didn't). They had pizza and burgers, three bars and music all day. In addition to a volleyball court, and tennis courts- so totally worth it in my book.

We got there at around 12.30- there were people, but not crowded. However, as the day went by it became quite a lot of people, which was great. People dancing to the music, having a beer- enjoying themselves. You never see this kind of ambiance in Italy, not on the beaches, nor have I seen in by a pool, just because most are located so close to houses that they simply can't, but this one- is the little (big) swimming pool that could!

And here you can see that it started all quiet and calm, and then in the third video people are dancing, should be interesting to see how it is at 11 tonight...
