We made it!! We actually got in the car at 10am this morning and drove to Valle Verzasca in Switzerland, an hour and a half away from home. And man were we positively surprised by the place!
We got there, parked the car a kilometer away from our destination Ponte Dei Salti (the bridge of jumping, meaning that you jump from the bridge into the river) figuring we'd walk the last little bit, and it was such a great little hike in the forrest passing some small houses, and walking along the river.
I mean- look at this place, I never thought it would be as beautiful as on the pictures online, but it really was!
This was from our hike to the bridge:

Look at these rocks shaped by the water, natures architect:

Such a cure village!

The water is nothing more than amazing there, but so, so, so cold- straight from the Swiss mountains!

Happy camper...;)

We obviously weren't the only ones there...

From the bridge Ponte dei Salti, stunning!
One piece of bf jumping into the water, he was basically afraid he would loose his legs from the freezing water swimming back to shore. The bridge there in the back is Ponte dei Salti:

On our way back home, too cute this little village!
And now it is raining and thunderstorms, so yea... But we need food, so that's whats next- the best Napolitan food in Varese- Trattoria Caprese- too excited!
