Why I love shoes

You know why I love shoes?
I love them, because they make a difference!
And independent on weight, height or bodyshape they still look good if they are good shoes.
If you have a great dress, and shitty shoes- it ruins the dress. If you have sweatpants and great shoes- it looks pulled together.
If you put on sneakers, you make a statement, if you put on heels you make another statement.
You can change your height with shoes- literally change the way you see the world.
And as said in the film ‘In her shoes’:
(clothes never fit, food makes me fat)
…shoes always fit

What I do question is why the biggest shoe brands for women are crafted by men? Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Steve Madden, Stuart Weizman , Giuseppe Zanotti etc.
They do know how to make a shoe look beautiful, and feet look beautiful, but if you haven’t walked a day in heels- do you really know how to make a wearable shoe…? Time to change that I would dare to say.
I know there are also the Sophie Webster, the Tamara Mellons and so on out there, but the reigns are held by men.
