I didn't mean for this to be a food post, but looking through the content I have, it became one...
We started the day off as we always do on Saturdays; me going for a run (I had a picture of that aftermath, but I shall spare you...), him sleeping in a bit and then getting a croissant and coffees at the, hands down best place for croissants: The Sicilian Bakery in Varese- their croissant with pistachio cream inside is , it is so, so good!!
It is worth mentioning that normal people eat one on their own, we share one- meaning I eat 1/10 and he eats the rest- but so good;)

And then, our saga of the watermelon (which you can read about HERE) continues- we cut the rest up and brought it with us to todays destination: Il Poggio.

The temperatures here are insane at the moment, today we measured 37 degrees celcius! It was great being by the pool though, and we even got to join a game of volleyball with some people we didn't know- so much fun!
In the evening we decided to cook at home, and MAN did we deliver (ok, it was my bfs suggestion and recipe- or his mother's to be exact).
For a 'primo piatto' (first course, not to be confused with 'antipasto' which is pre- course) which in italy is pasta with something, we made fresh pasta with mushrooms and truffles from my bfs parents place.
For 'secondo' (second dish) which is normally a bit heavier, all though not in this case, we made aubergine balls- so, so, so, so good- he really knows how to cook that man <3

And then, just some shoes from lately- because I have to...;) We do seem to wear the same shoes all the time, despite having a few...
