Early morning London bound

My day started early today, had my alarm set for 4.40 which hurts a bit when it goes off, but once I am off I am good to go. Had a 7.35 flight to London where I will stay until Thursday and from there go directly to Corsica to meet my family until Sunday.

So for a total of 6 days I managed to fit everything I need in the teeny tiny suitcase you see below here (the thing on top is my laptop, for scale). This coming from someone who manager to have overweight luggage on the way to New York to shop... so this is a major step on my packing skills- challenge accepted in other words!

As soon as I had dropped off my luggage I went to get my Frapuccino from Starbucks. Just sitting there; working a bit in the Starbucks window with my coffee and watching life pass by- love it (clichè as it is)!

I had three meetings back to back in the afternoon today, even had to take a taxi to get to one of them- which ended up being a big mistake. Traffic was so bad, I should've just taken the tube as I normally do. Oh well, lesson learned.

In the afternoon I went for a run along The Thames, had to snap some shots too;) Just love running in the city I don't live in as it gives me the feeling of 'normal life'.

Look at the cute staircases in the area of my hotel, which is around Victoria station, chosen on account of having to get up really, really early on Thursday to catch my flight from Gatwick at 7- the horror...

And then, true to form- just a nice collage of some of the shoes I have worn lately;)
