Varese by night, Milan by day

We went to Trattoria Caprese yesterday, and the place is so great (you can find them a lot of places in Italy: Bergamo, Milan, Varese, Naples, Monza and so on). I love the food, the ingredients are always the best (I do see they have received some rather bad reviews on TripAdvisor, but I have never been disappointed).

One does have to wait for a bit to get in, there is always a line outside- but they serve everyone with prosecco and Napolitan snacks while waiting, so you know- totally worth it.

I almost always go for the Mozzarella di bufola with prosciutto and melon- so, so, so good!

And my bf always goes for pizza- this time quatro formaggi (four cheeses).

In addition to great food, they really create and ambience that is fantastic:

Had a glass at Balthazar afterwards, they are always packed, have great drinks, great wine, know their game, a good aperitivo plate (if one wants, we did not yesterday) and nice music. If/when I move to Milan I will actually miss these places we normally go to.

Today we went to Milan, we were supposed to go lie by a pool, but the weather was not up for it, cloudy and scattered showers so we went for a walk in Parco Sempione instead.
