I am sucker for anything written about the retail industry, and since it is changing on account of Ecom, over- supply and social media I find it so interesting to follow the development. I would say I subscribe to about 20/30 newsletters daily, which means I become rather efficient at sifting through articles.
Here are two articles that basically targets the ever- intersting subject of creating an experience and suspense in the act of shopping:
This one lovely depicts the smaller shops and how they actually are able to make a difference, while the big players are failing, read it HERE
This next one talks about Supreme and how they are doing basically everything right. If I ever happen to start something myself, THIS is the model I will follow all though I am not a big fan of the aestetics of the brand, their followers and distribution methods are fantastic, click HERE to read the article.
Just to give some reference of the brand, they did a collaboration with Louis Vuitton lately
(and let me repeat- I do not like the aestetic of this...)
